The School Day

School Hours

Key Stage 1 & 2 8.50 am – 3pm

Nursery (am) 8.50 am – 11.30am

Nursery (pm) 12.30pm – 3.00pm

Please ensure that any money sent into school is put in an envelope with your child’s name and class written on the envelope.

Dinner Money

School dinners cost £1.90 per day. We would appreciate payment either weekly or termly. Cash or cheque made payable to NCC.

Free School Meals

If you think you may be eligible for free school meals please collect a form from the office.

Milk

Letters are sent out at the end of each term asking if you would like your child to have milk the following term. Milk cost £8.70 per term and is free to all children under the age of five or those who are eligible for free meals.

Swimming (For Years 3 & 4)

£3.00 per week to cover swimming lesson and transport.

Absence

If your child is not going to be coming to school please telephone the office before 9.00 am. Absence forms are required for all circumstances and these should be completed and returned to school to avoid an unauthorised mark on the register.

Health & Safety

Earrings will not be permitted n school and we ask that these be removed. Medicines can only be administered if a medication form has been completed.

Criminal Record Bureau checks are necessary for parents who are helping in school or accompanying children in trips. If you would like to help in school please ask us about obtaining clearance.

Disclaimer forms must be completed (Year 4 only) for any child who will be walking home unaccompanied.
