Introduction

It is vital parents have a complete understanding of the school they choose for their children.

We hope this website will provide you with some basic information about our school and that it will help to promote a close relationship between home and school, which is so vital to your child’s happiness and educational progress.

We aim to work with you and your child to provide an education, which is supported by a caring environment; an environment in which your child can develop as a whole person and which encourages high qualities in learning and social development.

We are always pleased to welcome prospective parents and children to school and a phone call to our secretary can ensure you an appointment to view the school.

We are a Church Aided School and we have strong links with St. Michael’s, our local parish church and the Diocese of Newcastle. This is reflected through our Religious Education, Collective Worship and distinctive ethos, which are firmly founded on sound Educational and Christian beliefs.

As an Aided School our admissions policy is very flexible and we can take children from a wide area if we have space. We welcome admissions throughout the year.

Finally this is your school as well as your child’s and we do value highly your support and co-operation at all times.
